I used to think there was a formula

&nbsp&nbsp but the inner journey seems to have no one course.

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp Only that hands must be empty,

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspHeart must be seeking.

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspTreasured conclusions must be set aside.

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspIt doesn't matter what I hold to be true.

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspAll that matters is what is.

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspSuch emptiness the spirit demands

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspSuch childlike trust

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspSuch wanting.
